Week 12 – Writing an essay

Today’s task:

Writing 2 pages essay on Multiple Intelligence and Teaching.

Homework:

– 2 pages essay on Rubrics and teaching and learning.

– duration: 2 weeks.

– submit before exam.

Week 11: Forum on what are worthwhile lesson objectives?

Today’s task:

– We were divided into 3 groups which consist of 5 to 6 members.

– Group discussion about 15 minutes on what are worthwhile lesson objectives?

– Each group were given 5 minutes to do the forum.

– Write 2 pages essay about what are the worthwhile/important lesson objectives?

Week 10 – On leave

I’m taking my leave this week 🙂 however, manage to get update from my colleague that they were doing forum this week.

Homework: Commitment and responsibilities  of teacher, pupil and parent.

Week 9

Today’s task: Presentation on last week topic – “How do students learn?”

Next week task:

– What they should be doing within 10-15 mins.

– Give examples of focus on task specifying a task in your subject area and topic and what students are expected to do.

Week 8

Today’s task, we were given to do one of this topic:

1. How do students’ learn?

2. How should we teach?

3. How do we motivate them?

4. How do we provide constructive guidance?

Our group ( Eryana, Fiona and Me ) will be doing the first topic.

We have researched some information from the internet and then prepare the slides for the presentation next week.

1. State one function of input, output and storage devices
2. Name at least THREE examples of input devices (keyboard, mouse, scanner, touch screen)
3. Name at least THREE examples of output devices (monitor, printer, speaker, plotter)
4. Name at least THREE examples of storage devices (Pendrive, Hard disk, Diskette, DVD)

1. Discovering ICT Year 7 Textbook
2. Computers
3. Projector
4. IWB (for interactive discussion and activities)
5. Storage devices such as, Pendrive, DVD, Hard disk (external), diskette and CD
6. Printer
7. Printed exercises to explain the functions of different devices
8. Internet to explore current/modern devices
